These forums allow you to chat with other SupaNames users and to assist each other with issues not generally covered by our free support service (such as php / cgi scripting). If you require official technical support please use our support service, which handles hundreds of customer emails each day, at http://www.supanames.com/support/
1) FAULT, ERROR, PROBLEM AND SECURITY ISSUE REPORTING
ANY report or post of or relating to service faults, problems or security issues (eg. site down, server issues etc) MUST be sent directly to our support department at http://www.supanames.com/support/ and MUST NOT be posted within this community forum at ANY time.
There are several reasons for this rule, the most important being:
I) Our support department need to know directly about any fault, problem, error or security issue as soon as possible and these forums are not monitored by our support department directly.
II) Faults, errors or problems can be caused by many different factors (e.g. problems with your ISP etc) and confusion is easily caused by people assuming that they are experiencing the same fault as another user, when in fact these users may be experiencing very different issues, on different servers and with different causes, but similar symptoms.
III) These forums are intended to be community based forums and are not a source for official SupaNames support which is only available at http://www.supanames.com/support/.
IV) In the past, information provided in fault reporting posts on this forum has not been sufficient enough for our staff to look into the issue and offer advice or resolve a server fault and as the forums are an informal community based public system, we are unable to ask for further details in this setting.
V) Security issues are often of a sensitive nature, and should always be sent direct to our support department for that reason.
2) YOUR AGREEMENTS AND STATUS
a) You agree and confirm that you are a full SupaNames account holder & user with at least one active, non expired web hosting package held with us.
b) You agree that if you have had an account or hosting package terminated or suspended you must obtain prior written permission from forums@supanames.co.uk before posting or accessing these forums / URL / domain, even if you hold further accounts or packages.
c) You agree that you may not grant access to or allow any non SupaNames active customer (as outlined in term 2a) to access these forums / URL / domain in any way.
d) You agree that content within this forum is (c) copyright 2004 Supanetwork Limited t/as SupaNames. In order to protect our users the reproduction of any postings or content posted to, or contained within, this forum elsewhere (including screen shots) is strictly prohibited.
e) You agree that you will not, at any time, post personal or account information (e.g. usernames, passwords) onto these forums at any time.
f) You agree that SupaNames, or moderators acting on our behalf, reserve the right to control and decide who posts in these forums and may ban or exclude any user at any time. Once banned you agree that you are not permitted to re-establish your account under another username or alias.
g) You agree that SupaNames, or moderators acting on our behalf, can remove, edit, move or lock any post at any time. Posts made in breach of these terms and conditions or containing content that is rude, offensive, damaging, unfair, one sided or otherwise about any third party (including but not limited to other forum members or SupaNames) will be removed by SupaNames, or moderators acting on our behalf.
3) CONTACTING SUPANAMES
You agree that if you are unsure as to whether the contents of your post are against our forum terms and conditions you will email forums@supanames.co.uk with your proposed content, before making any post in this forum.
4) ACCESS & LAWS
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
